Flores Overland 6 Days 5 Nights (West to East)

Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Todo Village – Cara Village – Ruteng
Pick up from your hotel in Labuan Bajo and begin the journey to Todo Village, the ancestral home of the Manggarai Kingdom. Explore the traditional village, known for its unique houses, stone fences, rolling grasslands, and beautiful mountain scenery. Continue to Cara Village to witness the famous Lodok Rice Fields, a spectacular spider-web-shaped rice field that reflects the traditional land distribution system of the Manggarai people. Afterward, drive to Ruteng for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ruteng – Aimere Arak Distillery – Bena Village – Bajawa
After breakfast, continue the journey to Aimere, stopping at a traditional Arak distillery to learn about the production of Indonesia’s famous local palm liquor. Continue to Bena Village, one of Flores’ most remarkable megalithic villages. Explore its traditional houses, ancient stone structures, ceremonial shrines, and rich cultural heritage. In the afternoon, drive to Bajawa for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Bajawa – Avatar Hill – Soa Hot Spring – Riung
After breakfast, visit Avatar Hill, one of the most scenic viewpoints in Flores. The rolling green hills, fresh mountain air, and morning mist create a landscape often compared to scenes from the movie Avatar. Continue to Soa (Mangeruda) Hot Spring, where you can relax in natural warm pools surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Afterward, drive to Riung for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Riung – Explore 17 Islands Marine Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day private boat excursion to the stunning 17 Islands Marine Park. Discover pristine islands, relax on white-sand beaches, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and explore the rich marine life of this hidden paradise. Return to Riung for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Riung – Blue Stone Beach – Nduaria Market – Moni Village
After breakfast, depart Riung and travel east toward Moni Village. Stop at the unique Blue Stone Beach near Ende, famous for its naturally colored blue and green pebbles. Enjoy the coastal scenery and lunch at a local seaside restaurant. Continue with a visit to the traditional Nduaria Market before arriving in Moni Village for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Kelimutu Three-Colored Lakes – Saga Village – Ende
Early morning departure at 04:00 AM to Kelimutu National Park. Enjoy a 30–40 minute trek to the viewpoint and witness the spectacular sunrise over the iconic Three-Colored Lakes of Kelimutu, one of Indonesia’s most famous natural wonders. After returning to the hotel for breakfast and check-out, continue to Saga Village, a traditional Lio village where you can experience local culture and traditional architecture. After the visit, transfer to Ende Airport or your hotel in Ende.
